Tyson Cole

Chef Tyson Cole's culinary journey began unexpectedly while studying at the University of Texas, Austin, where he fell in love with Japanese cuisine while working part-time in a restaurant. Apprenticing under renowned chefs and training in NYC, he opened his first restaurant, Uchi, in 2003, which has since expanded into a successful restaurant group. Inspired by guest feedback and his family, Cole pushes culinary boundaries while emphasizing hospitality. He cherishes Japanese knives and values patience and excellence in the restaurant business.
