Masahiro Sugiyama

Masahiro Sugiyama was born into a prestigious sushi family, with a lineage of sushi chefs spanning generations. Despite growing up surrounded by the culinary world, Sugiyama initially resisted following in his family's footsteps due to witnessing the demanding nature of the industry. However, his passion for cooking was ignited when he had the opportunity to serve a dish he prepared to a customer, experiencing the joy of seeing them smile upon tasting his food. This moment led him back to his roots in sushi. After gaining experience at various sushi shops in Tokyo and apprenticing at Sushi Kanesaka, Sugiyama received an exciting opportunity to open his own restaurant at a Bulgari Resort in Dubai in 2017. Embracing this chance, he set off for Dubai to establish his own culinary venture, where he has full control over its concept, operation, and menu.
