Tsuyoshi Go Nagano

Go Nagano is an acclaimed Sushi Chef, Sake Sommelier, and Japanese Sake Quality Appraiser, known for blending his deep Japanese heritage with a modern, global touch. Based in Dubai, he leads the sushi team at the award-winning Mimi Kakushi Japanese Restaurant and oversees Sushi Bars at other RIKAS Group venues like Gohan and La Cantine du Faubourg Mykonos. Nagano introduced the "Sushi-Izakaya" concept and premium Japanese Sake to Greece, earning a Star from the F&L Guide's Stars for Best Restaurant Awards for three consecutive years. He is also passionate about sustainable cuisine, using local and seasonal ingredients in his dishes. Growing up in Tokyo, Nagano was steeped in cultural traditions like the tea ceremony, ikebana, and sushi-making. He is also a qualified Sake Sommelier and Food and Beverage Navigator by the Sake Service Institute (Tokyo).
