Chef Giovanni Cortese, a 32-year-old from Naples, Italy, has a deep-rooted passion for culinary arts, which began in his childhood. Educated at IPSSEOA Angelo Celletti, one of Italy’s top culinary schools, he pursued his career with dedication, traveling through Europe and Australia to hone his skills. He settled in Dubai as the Head Chef at a renowned Italian restaurant in DIFC, working under the guidance of Michelin-starred chef Enrico Bartolini.

Currently, Chef Giovanni leads the Loren Restaurant Project, where he has crafted a menu celebrating Italian regional specialties, with a focus on homemade dishes. His inspiration stems from his Neapolitan roots, aiming to blend tradition with modernity. He is deeply committed to sharing the richness of Italian cuisine with the world, drawing from his heritage to offer an authentic culinary experience.
