Mireille Hayek

Mireille Hayek's culinary journey began with a passion for cooking and the encouragement of her brother, leading her to establish her first restaurant, "La Parilla," in Lebanon in 2006. The success of this venture inspired her to open "Yasmina," an Indian fusion restaurant, in 2009, named after her daughter. In 2011, she unveiled her masterpiece, "Em Sherif," named after her son, which quickly became the epitome of Lebanese fine dining. Em Sherif blends traditional Lebanese cuisine with refined elegance, offering a luxurious dining experience cherished by locals and visitors alike. Hayek's commitment to quality, consistency, perseverance, presence, and authenticity has solidified Em Sherif's reputation as a culinary beacon in Beirut. Driven by intuition and culinary creativity, Hayek and her team have established Em Sherif as a thriving family business with international acclaim, rooted in Lebanese heritage and hospitality.
