Restaurant Eugène Eugène

An ambitious replica of the Paris restaurant Eugène Eugène opened on the second floor of the Kempinski Mall of Emirates hotel. The size and proportions are a perfect match, and even the zoning has been preserved: dinner for a crowd in the restaurant, meetings in the lounge, cocktails at the bar counter. The only difference is the inner courtyard, but it’s mostly occupied by the hotel’s guests with their laptops. The restaurant serves casual French classics, from the exemplary steak tartare to sole meunière with mashed potatoes. But don’t search for croque madame on the menu – after all, it is a restaurant, not a brasserie, even though it looks like a very quaint café in a greenhouse.
