Lila Taqueria

At Lila, you will find traditional Mexican dishes cooked using family recipes. The main ingredient is heirloom corn that is used to make flour and bake tortillas (about 800 every day). Plus, they make amazing coffee here, using the beans grown in Mexico’s coffee states, Veracruz and Chiapas. Chef de cuisine Shaw Lash (also known as Lila) uses the dishes of her childhood to tell the residents of Dubai the history of Mexican food – and she does a good job of it. The servings are generous, and the prices are affordable. The restaurant has a small terrace, which is dog friendly.
