His restaurant, Moonrise, located atop Eden House in Satwa, combines Middle Eastern upbringing with Japanese ingredients and techniques in a 10-course omakase menu. Despite lacking formal culinary training, Haddad's instincts have propelled Moonrise to culinary stardom, earning its first Michelin Star in 2023 and securing a spot on the Middle East & North Africa's 50 Best Restaurants lists within two years of opening. Born and raised in Dubai to a Syrian father and French mother, Haddad's diverse heritage influences his innovative approach to gastronomy.
