Restaurant Kokoro

Houston-style sushi bar in a small urban bistro format. Kokoro is the brainchild of chefs Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee who specialize in opening affordable Japanese cuisine establishments with a focus on product quality and fun plating. The menu includes hand rolls, crudo, classical nigiri (including made with Wagyu beef) and sashimi, as well as salads and some desserts. The drink menu features signature green tea, milk oolong, and iced tea, and there is no alcohol. You cannot book a table at Kokoro, but you can bring a rubber duckie with you (the guys collect them) and exchange it for a hand roll.
