City Cafe Piehaus

A bakery-cafe launched by the team behind the popular Balkan cuisine restaurant, 21grams. It features a small counter and just a dozen or so tables for lovers of late breakfasts, an open kitchen, and, finally, a large selection of pastries that are famous throughout the city. These are made from crispy phyllo dough with a wide variety of fillings: from the classic with goat cheese, honey, and thyme to new options with pepperoni or salmon, and, of course, sweet ones—with custard, chocolate, strawberries, and so on. Plus, as always, great coffee.
