Restaurant Sufret Maryam

This is a new project by the region’s renowned entrepreneur and chef, Palestinian Salam Daqqaq, who has earned numerous local and international culinary awards for her restaurant Bait Maryam.
Sufret, which translates as “dinner table” from Arabic, opened in late 2024 and is dedicated to the concept of Middle Eastern hospitality and the rich flavors of Levantine cuisine. The venue resembles a cozy private villa, complete with a wood-fired stove and a giant table at the center of its living room.
The menu features some intriguing innovations, such as a new take on the Palestinian street food mousakhan, presented in the form of rolls, halfa rolls filled with potato and served with raita sauce, and shish barak meat dumplings served in a mint and garlic yogurt sauce.
