Ninive

The restaurant’s name is a reference to the ancient Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian kingdom, that was famous for its gardens – and the local terrace resembles one. The restaurant is designed like a modern mejlis, a place where people gather for important decision-making. The menu offers traditional Middle Eastern and North African food prepared with the use of contemporary culinary techniques. It is served on the dishware that was made to order by the local ceramists. The cocktails use the ingredients traditional for this region – turmeric, figs, cloves – and they are especially great when consumed on the terrace with a view of skyscrapers.
