City Cafe Yubi

A hand-roll bar and Japanese restaurant, one of the twelve places in the new 25 Jump Street gastronomic cluster, which launched at the end of 2025 within the One Central business hub.

The concept and menu are helmed by the renowned Singaporean-born chef Reif Othman, who has been highly successful in popularizing Asian cuisine across the Middle East. Unlike Othman’s previous projects, Yubi draws inspiration from street food culture and aims to claim Dubai’s currently vacant niche of informal Japanese bistros. These are places patrons visit not just for original signature dishes—such as rolls with akami tuna and foie gras or sashimi with seared Kagoshima Wagyu—but also for pleasant, relaxed socializing.
