Electric Pawn Shop

The atmosphere of Electric Pawn Shop balances at the junction of bar and club. As a rule, people come here on Friday and Saturday nights to do some dancing, not to have a dinner or an aperitif. The project was inspired by New York’s Chinatown neighborhood in 1970s. The flamboyant interior references the legendary New York neon signs, vinyl records, gambling, and overall speakeasy atmosphere. The cocktail menu is full of Asian twists on classical cocktails. Take, for example, the Magic Mushroom Boulevardier with shiitake mushrooms or Gangnam Gimlet with sesame soju. The food here is also great: excellent tempura prawns, shrimp dumplings, and fried rice with kimchi and teriyaki tenderloin.
